After two years, my original HP charger can only charge when laptop is off. It won't charge when laptop is in use. I bought this one, and the laptop can charge while in use.To be fair, the problem was battery getting old, but the original HP charger was designed with too little margin. Nonetheless, with this charge, I can live on the current battery for another two years until it dies completely.Update to the review. After 1 year of in service, now the power supply has a little annoying squeaking noise. It is not that noticeable during the day, but at night it is. It still works fine, just don't know how long this charger will last. Hence reduce one star from original.Well I bought it Nov. 6, 2016. It still LOOKS perfectly new. No kinks, no tears, rips, or holes in the cord, and the brick isnt beat up. That said...it is time to buy a replacement. It has done well considering I only payed about $15. Today is 2/2/19, it now only sometimes wants to charge my little laptop. At first I was mad and thought my laptop was dying, because seriously everything else (car, desktop, boyfriend's car) has been dying, and this adapter really does still look brand new. So no way was I thinking it was the culprit. Then I noticed when I bumped the brick my charging light blinked on and off. A little more investigation and yep, it's my adapter. Hey I'm ok with that, broken laptop vs broken adapter... I'll pay $15 for a new adapter thanks. It is now laying next to me making a buzzing noise, but it's charging my laptop. Time to retire the little guy. Worth the 15.Bought this to replace my old laptop charger (dog chewed up the half that connects to the computer). I was skeptical because in the two years I've owned my laptop, I've never needed a replacement charger. After it was delivered, I checked it out just to be sure it was the right one (and to check how well it charged). It fits my laptop just like the old one (the charger that came with the laptop when I purchased it), and charges great! I was even surprised to learn that it charges faster than my old one (not used to the power of a new charger, I guess!) Great buy!I lost my original ac power cord for my HP Envy laptop, so thought I'd try this since the price was right. No problems ordering it, the seller got it out to me right away (excellent service, thank you!) and the power cord works great! I've been using it about a month or so now, and have had no problem whatsoever. Thank you Easy Style for giving a good product at a good price. I am very happy.UPDATE: For some reason, it stopped working after about a month of use. I contacted Easy Style and they immediately replaced it. BEST customer service I've ever experienced. Two thumbs up!I needed a new power cord for my laptop the dog chewed the old one. Ordered this and it came the next day just in time for my TeleHealth Appointment. Saved the Day!Arrived on time and undamaged. The cord from the charger to the computer could be a bit longer. Charges at a rate comparable to other chargers.Maybe I received a dud but this power supply lasted just 6 months. It stopped working today. Trying my luck and ordered another one. We shall see how long the new one will last.It works, which is really all there is to say. XD That extra star is missing mostly cause it arrived later than the promised day and the block adaptor gets really warm very quickly. Not to a worrisome degree, though. I haven’t had it for long but I’m pleased with it!
