Made from 304 stainless steel, the substantial 6.1-inch blade (15.5cm) offers plenty of heft and cutting power and has a polished surface that lets the water drain easily and prevent oxidation. The thickness of the stainless steel is consistent from one end to the other, creating a high level of stiffness. The heavy-duty handle with stainless steel screws provides a reliable hand-hold when wearing gloves. The TK15 comes with a fiberglass-reinforced polyamide sheath with nylon straps, plus a hand cover with bungee for securing the knife to the hand in critical dive conditions. Recesses in the handle matched to teeth in the sheath enable the knife to stay securely in place. Super nice knife extremely sharp and a heavy duty!My biggest complaint is that the bungee cord you use to tie the the scuba pro rubber handle onto the knife was already tied in the tightest knot( which makes me think this was returned then sent out again) which is kinda frustrating when I spent over a thousand dollars on buying 3 of them. Took it on 10+ dives in the Maldives in the last week, they have updated the locking feature where there’s a new Velcro strap that goes over the handle and feels extremely sturdy. So I was never worried about it falling off if I was either jumping from the dive boat or kicking as hard as I could in a strong current. It will rust EXTREMELY fast if you don’t rise immediately with fresh water. Overall great product
