This is definitely a good device to have if you are trying to remove the amount of wall plugs you have in your wall. In terms of installation, it is pretty easy to install as the instructions are straight forward and to the point. The only issue I had with the installation was trying to figure out what wire would go where so that took a little time. My recommendation is to take a picture before you remove any wires from the old one so you know which wire went where. It makes things super easier. In terms of size of the pack, this one will be significantly bigger in terms of inner parts compared to a normal plug. That being said it may require you to put a little force on the wall outlet to get it into the wall depending on your wire setup in the back. The MAIN thing is make sure the power is SHUT OFF from the room. The white plastic outer plate is a separate piece but it looks pretty much the same as any other generic wall plug you may encounter in a house so you do not have to worry about it not matching. The screws are actually very well packed on the device. It is held into the slot by a plastic piece so when you are trying to install this make sure to remove the plastic and screws so you can screw the plastic piece and outlet into place. The two usb ports are located in the middle. When trying to plug it into the USB ports, I noticed that it does take some effort the first few times to plug into the cable. It was pretty much like breaking in a new pair of shoes. After a few plugins, it became easier to plug USB cables in. Another thing to note is that if you are plugging in big brick plugs into this outlet, it may actually hinder your ability to plug into the USB ports as the bricks may cover the USB ports. With surge protectors, I did not have any trouble plugging my USB cables in. This USB ports do support fast charging as I did try to plug into my note 8 and it went straight into "Fast charging mode" although I actually turned that feature off as I do not want to damage my battery with all the constant fast charging. Overall pretty happy with this device. I purchased the four pack making it very easy to install in several different locations and it was pretty easy to install for me. From what I can tell, all four devices worked like a charm without much issue. Also note that no cables are provided with this device.Very convenient to have by my bed, but the power light on it is a bit too bright.The receptacle is easy to install and usb chargers work as described, no issues with the performance. The only negative is the green led light in the middle of the receptacle, it is very bright and almost acts as a night light. It cannot be switched off and is a bit annoying for my needs, don't know if the receptacle is offered without the light.Overall it works. One problem, the mounting screws are poor quality. One broke off in the outlet box making it near impossible to remove and replace.Does what it’s supposed to at a far cheaper price than home improvement stores.Great product. Easy to install.Installation: Red and Black wires go on one side or black and black for the hot, and 1 or 2 whites on the Balance side. Cooper on the bottom.I would buy again if needed.XIt was very easy to install. Works great. The USB ports charges my devices a little faster than using the outlet with a charging block for apple or Android. Would definitely recommend it!!!
