Had to modify the power cord which came with my electric jack to work off a generator in order to lift a friend's RV. Left me without one for my RV. OEM as far as I'm concerned.If your cycle is locked up and you can only use the cigarette lighter to unlock the locking mechanism, than this is for you. Hook the battery to these wires, plug the other end into your cycles 12-volt plug, and instant power to your cycle.Works perfectly with my battery tender.Would have preferred it without an LED light though.I've purchased other items from the same manufacturer that's why I chose this one. Everything I've purchased from them has been of excellent quality.Not sure why others are saying it's wired backwards ? It has a sturdy automotive cigarette lighter plug with fuse and indicator light. The wire is quality 16AWG red and black. The adapter is a standard SAE plug that is commonly used with automotive products. The fuse is easily replaceable and also a common automotive type. Overall this is an excellent unit.Was very happy and surprised that it had an LED indicator. So I could tell when power was being drawn from my cigarette lighter... or rather when my solar panel was connected to my cigarette lighter and the vehicle trickle charging.
