I use it to have my phone in view while working from home. The double sided tape is very strong and handles my iPhone pro max well. I mounted it on the top-right corner of my monitor to enjoy the vertical (on right side) and horizontal (top) phone orientation. The horizontal is not recommended on a laptop due to the phone weight and mechanical leverage changes as you change the laptop screen angle. But, I’m using it on a desktop monitor, which never changes angle, so I’m okay with that risk. The magnet is sufficiently strong, and my iPhone pro max hasn’t fallen, even with a case.
