I've used it for a few cycles on my AGM trolling motor batteries, I will be installing a vent to help cool down the compartment as a lot of heat is generated during the charging cycle. The unit has a built in fan that I positioned next to where the fresh air vent will be. I used all #6 AWG cables for installation soldered to the lugs. It worked very quickly and after shopping it was the highest amps per bank in my price range. I read not to get a marine specific charger because the electronics are encased in plastic to keep them dry but that they'll fail earlier due to heat damage.
